Power Zone Academy

COVID-19 Statement

First off I hope everyone and their families can stay healthy and safe during these changing times.

Coach Dave is at home keeping a healthy social distancing policy to protect my lovely wife Carol who has diabetes, a pre existing health condition.  So caution is at the top of my list but I am coming up with ideas to continue to help softball athletes to keep up their skills and knowledge.  I will be launching a few online programs that will get athletes some instruction.  I will do either FaceTime or equivalent platform instruction, a video analysis program/instruction and maybe some online instructional webinars or information webinars.

I will also be able to supply some athletes with equipment if they do not have any so that they can continue to train.  Details will be coming soon on this also.

Online Training Now Available

2020 Summer Camp Registration Open

2020 Summer Camp will be Aug 24-27.  The 2019 camp was a huge success and we are planning to make 2020 even better.  With the best summer camp instructor to athlete ratio the camp gives every athlete lots of personal instruction.  We will work on individual skills and positional skills so that every athlete is prepared for fall tryouts or just to improve their skills.  If you have any questions please email dave@powerzoneacademy.com.

Training with Dave Paetkau

Power Zone Academy facility was open for 13 years and now owner and Canadian National Team hitting coach, Dave Paetkau will be available to instruct for associations, teams or individuals.

College Skills Video

Dave will also still be doing College Skills videos for athletes that are interested in promoting themselves to US and Canadian universities and colleges.  You can get more information about this look under the Recruitment Video tab at the top of the page.
